private practice by husband and wife team <a href=\"https:\/\/kg-testsite.com\/rosecity\/\/staff-bios\/\">Karl Kolbeck, PT, OCS, SCS, COMT, FAAOMPT<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/kg-testsite.com\/rosecity\/\/staff-bios\/#2\">Sasha Kolbeck, MPT, DPT, OCS, COMT<\/a> \u2013 residents of Portland\u2019s Northwest neighborhood. Both experienced physical therapists, they bring business backgrounds as well as clinical expertise and embrace ongoing education and advanced clinical training.<\/p>\n<p>The practice was founded in 1999 as Pettygrove Physical Therapy &amp; Sports Rehabilitation by longtime Portland residents and physical therapists <a href=\"https:\/\/kg-testsite.com\/rosecity\/\/staff-bios\/#3\">Vinton Mougey, PT<\/a>, and James Weggenman, PT. The Kolbeck team purchased PPTSR in 2014 and rebranded to Rose City Physical Therapy in August 2015.<\/p>\n<p>They will continue to offer excellence in customer service that was provided by their predecessors. Mr. Mougey remains active in clinical practice at RCPT and we are pleased to have him as a member of our staff. Mr. Weggenman is basking in retirement.<\/p>\n<p>Our physical therapists work with the patient and the referring physician as well as other qualified licensed professionals to develop personalized rehabilitation programs for each patient. These programs are designed to return individuals to their prior level of function \u2013 whether it be activities of daily living, work, recreation or sport \u2013 from the weekend warrior to the professional athlete.<\/p>\n<p>You will be treated by licensed physical therapists only. There is no delegation of patient care to assistants or aides. The advanced training and specialty certifications amongst our staff is extensive and includes board certified orthopedic and sports clinical specialists, certified manual and manipulation therapists, and <a href=\"https:\/\/astym.com\/Main\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ASTYM\u2122<\/a> accredited providers.
